Hi! I’m Nicole.

I live in The Woodlands, Texas with my loving husband, Wes, and our daughter Aurora. I love my family with my entire being! I am an author, speaker, and Disney fanatic! You quickly learn upon meeting me that I am an extrovert who loves people, planning and organizing vacations. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, working out on my Peloton, writing, speaking at events, and volunteering.

I actively seek out joy and focus on things to be grateful for each day, as I learned a few years ago just how precious moments in this life truly are…

Shortly after celebrating Wes’ and my 3-year wedding anniversary in the summer of 2017, I was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive, and high-grade cancer called sarcoma on my pancreas. When it was found it had already progressed to stage 3 so we relocated from Colorado to the Houston area to be close to MD Anderson Cancer Center for treatment. After chemotherapy and a miraculous outcome in surgery, I celebrated being cancer free in December of 2017.

While I no longer had sarcoma cancer, I was informed that I had lost the ability to have children due to the chemotherapy that was administered. But in 2021 I gave birth to our miracle daughter, Aurora, and have loved being her mom with every fiber of my being. Two months after Aurora was born, I was diagnosed with the same cancer and I went to fight it again. After surgery in August 2021, I have remained cancer free ever since! I thank God for every moment that I have had in this life. You can read more about my cancer journey and recovery by visiting my cancer website and blog, www.SparklySurvivor.com.

All of this to say, the reason that I am a professional travel advisor is because I know the importance of getting away and creating memories – whether it be a week long family vacation, an anniversary trip, a quick weekend reunion with friends, or adventuring on your own to explore a new destination. I also understand that life is busy and it’s hard to curate a perfectly planned vacation when you have a lot going on. For some, you may not know where to start and for others, you simply don’t enjoy planning. That’s where I come in. It would be a great joy to come alongside you to assist you in planning your next vacation and get the best value for your time and money.
